This neighborhood is named “seaview” due to its lengthy western border with puget sound, providing residents stunning views of the sound and mountains beyond on every corner. Seaview is bordered on the north by alki and genesee, on the east by fairmount park, on the south by gatewood, and on the west by puget sound.

WHAT IS seaview LIKE?

  • A quiet and primarily residential area of single-family homes and condos, with higher priced beachfront properties than the average housing market further inland.  Seaview gets its name due to its lengthy border with Puget Sound, providing stunning water and Mountain views.

Points of attraction:

  • Ephesus Restaurant- This Turkish restaurant offers authentic Turkish cuisine, soft folk music and large, comfy wooden chairs (some made from barrels).

  •  The Bridge- the main spot for watching sports while drinking a craft beer or getting together with friends for a hearty brunch.

  • C&P Coffee: a cozy, independent cafe with locally sourced coffee and baked goods, hosting live music and events. Perfect for a coffee date or getting some work done on your laptop.

  •  Little Prague European Bakery-a quaint, small bakery offering traditional Czech style pastries and dishes, passed down from family recipes for ten generations. The place to go if you’re homesick for Czech food or wanting to explore something different from your average pastry.

  • Harry’s Chicken Joint- a popular and very local joint that draws crowds from all over for its famous buttermilk-soaked fried chicken.

  • Bakery Nouveau - A staple to share these unmatched French Artisan pastries and chocolates with anyone that comes to visit from out of town.

  • Lowman Beach Park- A small park that has a lot to offer- a rugged beach, grassy area, swings and a tennis court.
