You can see kids biking and playing on the street as well as couples enjoying an evening at a locally owned restaurant.
Points of attraction:
Ercolini Park- The park was redone a couple of years ago and now boasts an awesome place for kids to play.
Buddha Ruksa- a Thai restaurant on Genesee street that offers a diverse variety of flavors that complements the Zen simplify of the restaurant's Thai decor.

why move to Genesee?
The Genesee neighborhood and education have a positive relationship and the overall residential aspect of this neighborhood is very strong, so it attracts many individuals who want an ideal location to raise kids. However, there has been recent construction of apartment buildings going up near the junction of Alaska and California, creating a more inviting environment for young, working professionals.
